Serious crash involving motorcycle and truck - Horsley Park

A motorcycle rider has been seriously injured after a crash in Sydney’s south west this morning.
About 7.40am (Tuesday 6 May 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a crash between a motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Redmayne Road and Wallgrove Road, Horsley Park.
The rider – a 17-year-old boy – was trapped under the truck until released by NSW Fire and Rescue at 8.30am. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck - a 28-year-old man - was uninjured.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
Major traffic delays are currently being experienced and motorist are urged to avoid the area.
